What is Applied Behavior Analysis?
Applied behavior analysis is a scientifically validated technique used to better understand behavior and how it is affected by a person’s environment. Methods of behavior analysis have helped children and adults on the Autism Spectrum develop essential skills such as language, communication and social interaction. It has been used since the 1960’s to help bring about positive behavior changes in individuals who have autism, down syndrome, or other types developmental delays.
ABA is a highly sought out service because:
