What services does your company offer?
The staff at The Behavioral Effect offers multiple ABA, therapeutic styles, such as natural environment training, incidental training, and discret trial training. These are designed specifically for children with autism and developmentally delayed children. We provide ABA therapy, parent training, and shadowing services. Our team is also able to provide you with assessments and consultations.
Do therapists come to my home?
One of the many benefits of working with our company includes our inhome services. This means our therapists come to you!
What ages do you service?
We service children from 18 months to 12 years old.
What is ABA therapy?
It is the study and modification of behavior. It is one-on-one therapy that involves the process of behavior modification in order to reduce unwanted behaviors and encourage appropriate adaptive behaviors. It is the most researched and supported therapy for helping children with special needs. ABA is the only scientifically proven way to treat children with Autism and other special needs.
What is a BCBA?
A Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) is a independent contractor or works for an organization. The BCBA conducts descriptive and systematic behavioral assessments, including functional analysis, and provides behavioral analytic interpretations of the results. The BCBA designs and supervises behavior analytic interventions. The BCBA is able to effectively develop and implement appropriate assessment and intervention methods for use in unfamiliar situations and for a range of cases.
How many hours of therapy will my child need?
Depending on your child’s evaluation, a BCBA will recommend hours needed for services. Hours range from 6 to 30 per week.
Does the Behavioral Effect only treat children with Autism?
No, the Behavioral Effect is able to help a variety of children with many different backgrounds, skill levels, and challenges.
What insurances do you take?
Currently we are taking Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Tricare, Aetna, and United Health Care.
